From a professional black and white photo taken at a Metropolitan Life convention in New York City. Mommy was pregnant with Charlie at the time. She sewed her coctail dress herself from drapery fabric remnants. She had also just sewn drapes for the livingroom and dining room at 3425 Redwood. She and Daddy had just had that house built for a whopping $18,000. Mommy and Mrs. Charles Taylor, the wife of the guy who was then President or CEO of Metropolitan hit it off really well at that convention. This explains where Charlie's name comes from.
